Southern Spars’ rigged Virbac-Paprec III Wins TJV
(Source: Southern Spars) Southern Spars is pleased to announce that Virbac-Paprec III sailed by Jean-Pierre Dick and Jeremie Beyou took line honours in the tenth edition of the Transat Jacques Vabre (TJV). Virbac-Parprec III took fifteen days, eighteen hours and fifteen minutes to complete the transatlantic course of 4730 miles, breaking the 2009 record by one hour and seven minutes.
Dick now a three time winner of this race and twice winner of the double handed Barcelona World Race; makes the Virbac-Paprec team unbeaten in the IMOCA Open 60 double handed races.
