Tanguy de LaMotte retrieves the halyard, swivel and what’s left of the top fitting of the broken Genoa furling stay on his Class 40. Lying 7th and positioned south of the fleet, there is plenty of runway left for the team to get into the chocolates in the La Solidaire du Chocolate.

He said Gennaker, not Genoa. There was nothing wrong with the swivel.
