The Artemis Racing AC72 arrived in San Francisco at the crack of dawn yesterday morning, having docked out of Valencia less than a month ago onboard the container ship HR Maria.
The AC72 left the Mediterranean, crossed the Atlantic Ocean and traveled through the Panama Canal to the Pacific Ocean to arrive at Pier 80 before being towed across to the team’s base in Alameda.
“We are all excited that the AC72 is here in San Francisco. We are looking forward to sailing this boat in the America’s Cup venue,” said Paul Cayard, CEO of Artemis Racing.
