A nicely produced video of Jeremie Beyou’s team stepping the mast on the IMOCA60 ‘Maitre Coq’. We suspect that this is only the first of many IMOCA related posts to feature here in the build up to the Vendee Globe later this year. It’s time to get excited!

Not exactly news but it did come to our attention through Lorima’s Facebook page a few days ago. This brief vid shows Bernard Stamm’s IMOCA 60 mast being release from the female tool at Lorima’s facility in Lorient last summer.
